Kaleidoscope, Cirk La Putyka – 11th and 12th August 2020
Be a part of the new performance Kaleidoscope by Cirk La Putyka at the lower part of the Exhibition Centre on 1th and 12th April 2020. In the open-air natural area, you will find a performance full of crazy jumps on a giant teeterboard, including group dance choreography, hanging acrobatics, and trampoline flights. A total of eight acrobats, actors, and dancers, will perform a well-rehearsed spectacle that will please fans of acrobatics. The circus expedition is described by the actors themselves as pure joy, and is suitable for the entire family. Czech language is not needed! Get your tickets here.
Cirk La Putyka workshop – 22nd August 2020
If your children are excited about the art of acrobatics, they have the opportunity to try circus training directly at the Výstaviště Praha. The last holiday workshops with instructors and acrobats from Cirk La Putyka will take place on the 22nd August. Workshops are suitable for children from 5 to 15 years old. They are divided according to the disciplines – trampoline jumps, juggling, balancing, ground acrobatics, and handstands. Workshops are held outside in the open-air area of the Výstaviště Praha. The morning workshop starts at 10 a.m. and the afternoon at 3 p.m.. Their length is 90 minutes. Parkour workshop – 15th August 2020
Children and adults can improve their acrobatic skills as a part of the parkour workshop, which will take place on Saturday, August 15. Under the leadership of Jan Mišovic, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the beginners can learn basic parkour techniques through skipping, roullade, or coordination exercises.
Those who are more advanced at parkour, can enjoy more demanding techniques, such as balancing on pipes, jumping speed obstacles, or advanced acrobatics, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.. In addition to the workshops, the newly opened parkour playground is freely accessible to all visitors – it is one of the largest in the Czech Republic. The playground is located in the lower part of the Výstaviště Praha.
Parkour show – 29th August 2020
Parkour show will also be held at the Výstaviště Praha on the last holiday, Saturday, i.e. August 29th. As a part of the afternoon parkour show, children and professionals, led by Tomáš Zonyga and the Parkour Ládví group, will perform tricks on the barriers. Visitors will also have a chance to test their parkour skills during the day. The program will run from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.. Admission is free. More information at www.vystavistepraha.eu.
