A whopping 70 microbreweries from around the Czech Republic (and even a few foreign guests) will be pouring more than 140 kinds of beer at this year’s Microbrewery Festival at Prague Castle, June 15-16 in the gardens and surrounding areas of the historic Prague landmark.

Now in its 7th year, the Microbrewery Festival has become one of Prague Castle’s most popular events, filling the Castle’s Royal Garden with some of the Czech Republic’s most popular microbreweries.

This year, the festival will take place on Friday, June 15 from 14:00 – 20:00 and on Saturday, June 16 from 12:00 – 20:00.

Participating breweries include favorites like Clock, Purkmistr, U Medvídků, Hoppy Dog, Joe’s Garage, Faltus, Permon, Kocour, and countless others. Brewers and owners from each brewery will be on hand to provide detailed information about their beer.

What makes the Prague Castle Microbrewery Festival unique is the pricing scheme: it’s a whopping 500 crowns to enter the event (475 crowns if you buy tickets in advance online), a price that includes all-day-attendance in the gardens of Prague Castle, catalogue of microbreweries, and a commemorative beer tasting glass.

And one more thing: unlimited consumption of beer.

Yes, that’s right: all the beer you can drink for the price of admission. At 1-2 beers per hour over the course of the day, as long as you can keep up… well, you do the math.

WCs, glass washing stations, and small bites to go along with the beers will also be provided.

Advance tickets to the Prague Castle Microbrewery Festival can be purchased from Colosseum Ticket.
