The pizzeria – whether a sit-down restaurant or a by-the-slice fast food affair – has long been a Prague staple. It sometimes seems like there are more pizzerias in Prague than in most Italian cities.
But one new bistro is bringing another Italian staple to the Czech capital.
It’s called Lasagneria, and it’s being touted as the very first, well, lasagneria in Prague and the Czech Republic. You can guess what they serve.
The restaurant has yet to open, but operators have been peppering social media with delicious images of what to expect.
On the Lasagneria website, the bistro promises fresh homemade pasta that is prepared daily, and recipes that strictly adhere to authentic Italian cuisine.
Lasagneria should open in the coming weeks at Korunní 35 in Vinohrady, a short walk from the Náměstí Míru metro station.
An opening date hasn’t been announced, but a trip down Korunní sees the venue quickly coming together.
