A cooling period today and tomorrow will see a cold front from the northwest drop average daily temperatures to single digits on Friday.

In mountainous regions throughout the Czech Republic, temperatures will dip below zero and snowfall is expected.

In Prague, however, things will quickly heat back up for the weekend. The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute is forecasting daytime highs to reach 20° C in the Central Bohemian region on Saturday.

With clear skies in the forecast for the region throughout the weekend, temperatures are expected to reach 22° C in Prague on Sunday.
