Right summertime is here, the temperatures are rising and as those who have been here for a while, it gets hot. Air conditioning-type devices sell out fast. Some take to the shade in the beer gardens, some to the boats of Naplavka and some to their village cottages to enjoy.
A recent conversation with a friend had me thinking that in such fine (if hot!) weather, what else can we “transfer” to the outside. The conversation was prompted by him returning after a lunchtime gym session to the office. Walking out of an exercise sessions into the heat had him returning for his 2nd shower.
My question to him, can you not exercise outside etc? You know running or cycling? He said, he needs the equipment … and I had the solution.
The. New. Outside. Gym. At. Zlute. Lazne.
What could be better than outside exercise in the sun? Zlute lazne tells us they have a brand new gym setup there with a trainer available for any newbies. So to save my friend a heart attack I researched and here’s the run-down.
Group lessons available every week-day from 18:30
For beginners as too, we are told!
On-hand trainers will teach you the right techniques to work your body in the right way (for that toned summer body…).
There are showers available OR, you could take a dip in the Vltava. Yes, it’s clean, check out that cleanliness report (yes, we at CitySpy Prague were nicely surprised too).
And, wait for it: there is no monthly fee, you pay as follows:
A regular group lesson from 6.30pm costs 200czk.
If you pre-pay for 10 lessons, it’s 1800czk
Note: entrance to Zlute lazne is 50czk before 5pm, it’s free after 5pm
Prefer to work out individually?
Then you pay only 100czk per single entrance. If you decide to buy a monthly pass, the price per entrance drops of course.
So, all in all – while the good weather is here, Zlute lazne offers a great alternative to being cooped up in a sweaty gym.
